How it works
Self-service means you do everything at your own pace, without waiting for anyone. Here's the step by step — in the store and in the app.
In the store
Four washers, six dryers, one Pet Corner tower and one payment station. In about an hour you leave with clean, dry laundry.
Pick the right machine
9 kg for a normal basket, 11 kg for sheets, 15–18 kg for duvets. Laundry should sit loosely in the drum.
Load and close the door
No detergent needed: it's dosed automatically. Separate colours and whites as you would at home.
Choose the programme and pay
Select the temperature on the panel, enter the machine number and pay with coins, notes, card or the app.
Move to a dryer
Pick one of six 15 kg dryers (the towers of two). Each 10 minutes costs €1.50; 20 to 30 minutes is enough for a normal load.
Pay with the app and earn rewards
The official Speed Queen app manages your balance, loyalty points and promotions. No coins, no change.

The app is operated by Alliance Laundry Systems, owner of the Speed Queen brand. When registering, enter the location code <strong>SQFARO</strong> to select the Speed Queen Gambelas store.
Top up in the app and get bonus credit
Top up your balance in the Speed Queen app and the bonus is credited straight away. The more you load, the more you get.
For better results
Don't overfill
If the laundry can't move freely in the drum, it won't wash or dry properly. Move up a size.
Duvets love the dryer
Add two clean tennis balls to the dryer so the filling doesn't clump. 40 minutes is usually enough.
Pet laundry: Pet Corner
Use only the machines with the paw symbol. Brush off hair first, use a mesh bag and choose a longer dry to remove all moisture.
Check the pockets
Coins, keys and earphones damage the machines and your clothes. A second's check saves a cycle.
Avoid peak hours
Sunday late afternoons are the busiest. Early mornings and after 9 pm there are almost always free machines — and the app shows you which, before you leave home.
Make use of the wait
Free Wi-Fi and a snack and drinks machine in store. A wash is about 30 minutes — enough to run an errand and come back.
